Product Description
The DRX-3 amplifies accurate, noise-free signal processing with high-current power for dynamic speaker control. The result is pure, rich and authentic sound. Integra’s dynamic audio amplification delivers 100 Watts per channel with 30 amps of high instantaneous current capability. The DRX-3 also features flexible Zone 2 Audio. Two additional surround channels may be assigned to stereo speakers in another room. An audio source from the receiver may be played back in either or both zones, or two different audio sources played in either room simultaneously.
DRX-3 supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X* for an immersive three-dimensional sound-space up to 5.1.2 Channels. Additionally, the Dolby surround up-mixer processes content not mixed for Dolby Atmos to fill the flexible speaker layouts of a Dolby Atmos system.
The DRX-3 has Google Cast for Audio, AirPlay, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies built in. Stream virtually any audio from a smartphone, tablet or PC to your home theater for powerful sound. With Spotify, Pandora, and TuneIn built-in, you can select a station and search for music available on these services via the Onkyo Remote app on your phone. The free Integra Remote app puts a range of streaming options at your fingertips, from universal hi-res audio via network-attached devices to internet streaming services to music on your smartphone and tablet. Further, Tidal and Google Cast for Audio will be operable with an upcoming firmware update.
No matter what you’re listening to, it will sound powerfully full, clean and clear. A premium-quality digital-to-analog converter implements unique low-distortion filtering technologies for clear sound, and unlocks the full potential of any audio format, including compressed, lossless, and hi-res audio.
Integra takes an original approach to room correction with “AccuEQ.” Choose to include or bypass EQ measurement for front left and right speakers, and choose to automatically or manually set the EQ. Further, you can save your own manual EQ settings into three available presets. New AccuReflex technology resolves any sound delay so that everything arrives at your ears at the same time. The result is cohesive reproduction of object-based soundtracks.
Integra products are designed and engineered to meet the demands of custom audio/video systems installers. The DRX-3 includes system integration connectivity and IP control with support for 2-way communication with 3rd party home automation systems. A pair of infrared (IR) inputs and an IR output make for a clean, reliable installation and allow pass-through of IR signals to control other devices connected to the DRX-3, such as a TV or Blu-ray player. Three fully programmable 12 volt triggers can be used to raise/lower a projection screen, power on/off an external amplifier, and open/close the drapes all with the touch of a button!

Hello, Last week I picked up a nice Kenwood KA-3500 40watt intergrated amplifier in pretty good shape. Upon using it a bit more, I noticed a bit of distortion at high volume, more so in the left channel. I checked the DC offset at the speaker terminals, and the L channel said 100 mV, while the R was 25 mV. I understand this isn’t so good for the L channel at least, but unfortunately this amp doesn’t have any DC offset adjustments. Am I right in saying that to fix this I’d have to replace the output transistors? — On a related issue, in the service manual I found the section on BIAS adjustment, and I read online how it can affect the DC offset. So I hooked up my voltmeter to the test points, and I got 4 mV on the L, and 8 mV on the R. In the manual it says should be 40 mV…..(!). Is there something wrong here? I tried carefully adjusting them, but they only go to 30mV with the pots fully on, this doesn’t seem right to me. — I compromised at 20 mV BIAS for both channels, and now the DC offset is 50 mV for L, and 5 mV for R, which is better, less than half what they were. I’m wondering, will I damage anything doing this, should I put them back to where they were? — The service manual is on site here. Let me know if you want me to upload an english copy of the Owner’s Manual, it has a better schematic in it all on one page, easier to read. I’ve also included some pictures.
