Good stuff. I believe the military personnel were plagued with leeches during the VN war. Many leeches are significantly larger. Those looked like baby leeches. I think I would’ve worn hiking boots with socks even though it’s hot. I also would’ve used a bug repellent even for a casual hike.

Can’t wait to visit. We are from Tampa area but live in Hanoi. Heading to Danang this week and planning to go to Bach Ma next week. Question: if we drive ourselves in a vehicle do you know if we can drive into the park ourselves? We love hiking and hope to drive up to the peak and do some hiking in this beautiful place.
